Bihar BPSC 72 Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
72nd Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination:
Candidates must possess a graduation degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.Child Development Project Officer (CDPO):
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the following subjects:- Home Science
- Psychology
- Sociology
- Labour and Social Welfare
One of these subjects must also be chosen as an optional subject in the Main Examination.
Financial Administrative Officer (FAO) & Equivalent:
Candidates must have a graduate degree in any one of the following subjects:- Commerce
- Economics
- Mathematics
- Statistics
Sub-Divisional Protection Officer:
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in either:- Psychology, or
- Law
Selection Process
The Bihar BPSC 72 Recruitment 2026 selection process includes the following stages:
1. Preliminary Written Examination
- The preliminary exam will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQ) and will serve as a screening test.
2. Main Written Examination
- Candidates who qualify in the prelims will be eligible to appear for the mains examination, which includes descriptive-type questions.
3. Interview
